🐾 MeowSolver

Privacy policy

Effective July 8, 2026 · applies to meowsolver.com

The short version

MeowSolver runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, nothing you do in the solver is sent to us, and your screenshots never leave your device — unless you deliberately attach one to a feedback report.

Your puzzle screenshots

The screenshot importer processes images locally in your browser using JavaScript on your own device. Screenshots are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server — ours or anyone else’s. Closing the page discards everything.

What we collect

Nothing personally identifying. The site has no accounts and sets no tracking cookies. Three categories of data exist at all:

  • Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure processes standard technical request data (IP address, user agent) to deliver pages and mitigate abuse, per Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
  • Aggregate analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first tool that reports page-level counts (visits, country, browser) without fingerprinting or tracking individuals across sites.
  • Feedback you choose to send — see below.

The feedback form

The contact page has an optional feedback form. If you use it, we store what you submit so we can review it and fix bugs: your message, the puzzle and solver version you name, a screenshot only if you attach one, your browser’s user-agent string, and a truncated one-way hash of your IP address used solely to rate-limit abuse (the address itself is not stored). Submissions are kept on Cloudflare infrastructure, reviewed by a human (sometimes with AI assistance), used only to investigate and improve the solver, and deleted once resolved. The form may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving CAPTCHA, to filter automated spam.

Advertising

To keep the tool free, some pages may in the future display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. If and when ads are enabled: ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites; visitors in regions requiring consent will be shown a consent dialog first; and you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. This policy will be updated when advertising goes live.

Children

The site is a general-audience puzzle tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
